THE FOUNDER:
MICHAËL HADIDA

Since 2003, Michaël Hadida is committed to developing an international network of designers and creatives, brands and galleries, collectors and entrepreneurs. A like minded community that is innovative and responsible, aiming to define together the new luxury. With THEMA, Michaël Hadida wants to give this community visibility through its events, curation, collaborations and social network

Michaël Hadida grew up in a creative family and inherited their visionary and avant-garde spirit. In 1980, his parents founded the world’s first concept store, LECLAIREUR, which combines art, fashion and design, and which he took over as CEO in 2018, after having been its development director.

At TRANOÏ, an artistic event and fashion show that he directed for ten years, he propelled many international designers. He travels the world’s fashion weeks and design fairs, always curious to discover cultures, arts, traditions and know-how.

In 2020, he opened the first sustainable luxury concept store under the name *THE NORM*, bringing together fashion, design, architecture and visual arts, convinced that all these disciplines belong to the same ecosystem. In 2022, he began a partnership with the Ethical Fashion Initiative at the United Nations to promote local craftsmanship in Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso.

Today, Michaël Hadida is pursuing his committed, ethical and responsible approach with THEMA, the first sustainable design fair, which will be held in Paris at L’Hôtel de Guise, from 17 to 21 October 2023.

*In September 2022, LECLAIREUR took over THE NORM and the distribution of its sustainable designers, including Stella McCartney, Gabriela Hearst, Coperni, Bode, Lukhanyo, Kassl…
